Excellent resource book. It is being used for my son at a High School college prep school, but, I am sure will be a valuable resource thru out college as well.

I find this book a little difficult to use but then the subject matter of citations can be tricky.
The referencing material is very helpful and it contains a lot of new and up to date methods for all the new media out there.
I found it a very helpful book.

The 6th edition of this handbook is very handy, if it's what you need for your work. The 7th edition was released in 2009, so there are several updated standards and rules. Check which edition your professor/teacher/institution is going by, and purchase accordingly.
Received the wrong book June 24, 2010

Not sure if was the fault of seller or Amazon.com. I needed the 7th edition, when purchasing the book, it said the correct edition. When the book arrived it was the 6th edition. Due to the nature of the book and the reformatting of MLA style of writing the older edition was out dated. I did get it at a great price as many times before so I just reordered.
